Super Cute Stackable Lunch Pots
Hope you all enjoyed my review of Uncommon Goods’ Stoneware TV Dinner Trays! Up next we have a really neat Stackable Lunch Pot. Last year I made a New Year’s resolution to bring home lunch to work more often (as a way to save money). Sadly I realized I’m slightly addicted to buying lunch containers/bento boxes/etc. (not good when trying to save money). Next week I’m attempting to make my own lunch bag–but more on that later.
These Stackable Lunch Pots could be cool housewarming gifts or gifts for husband or even for your teenagers as a way to encourage them to bring home lunch. Although the shape of these containers might be ideal for noodles, soup, and other not-so-solid food (i.e. not a sandwich), I think it’d also be great for storing a salad or some sliced fruit.
This is how it is packaged. Super cute! I actually have another Box Appetit lunch container, so I knew it was going to be awesome. My other lunchbox even comes with a bag that folds out into a small placemat.
Here’s what it looks like when you separate the two containers and remove the strap that holds it together.
Here’s a close-up of the containers with their lids removed. As you can see, they are “twist” lids to seal the containers closed.
The containers are held in place by this strip and plastic circular fastener. There’s a smaller one on the bottom to hold the steady the other container.
I don’t know if I’m brave enough to put soup in these containers (I’m afraid of it spilling), but when I try I will report back here with my results. Until then, fruits it is!
